A Bay Area Maternity Studio Photography Maintaining Social Distance

Virginia and James contacted us to take maternity photos for them. It was such a blast shooting in our Studio and nearby park in Mountain View. They selected our Maternity Fine Art Package that consists one hour studio and one hour outdoor photography.

The session was so much fun. Virginia and James were just so sweet. Isn't Virginia the cutest mom-to-be?! She is due any day now.

As the State of California aims to fully reopen in June, how do we keep ourselves safe and our clients while still shooting these beautiful milestones?

How does a Maternity session looks like with social distance?

It is not different from a  “normal” maternity session. Our staff is fully vaccinated and continue to wear facial mask. 

We use 2 cameras lenses. One zoom lens to get closer to the subject without physically getting up close and a wide angle lens to capture a bigger scene.

The photographer always maintains 6-8 feets away and direct you with words and actions to ensure connected imagery.
